Debbie Wolff, owner of Fusion Fitness and myOMmat.com has been a certified fitness professional since 1981.
She began her career as an instructor with Jacki Sorenson' s Aerobic Dance and has continued in the group exercise field ever since. Certified in most group exercise formats, including kickboxing, indoor cycling, body works, yoga, pilates, water aerobics, Debbie never stops learning new and exciting methods of exercising.
Her love of fitness has taken her from NYC to Southern California, and now resides in South Florida with her husband Stephen of nearly 20 years, 2 children, Rachel and Shelby, and 2 greyhound rescues, Shayna and Layla.
Debbie continues to teach group fitness, but over the past 5 years began Fusion Fitness as a personal trainer incorporating all of her knowledge and taking it to her private clients. Whether it is strength training, functional training, cardiovascular training or the mind-body components of yoga and pilates, Debbie brings her years of experience along with her great sense of humor to each and every one of her clients and members.
Debbie's personal fitness routine includes running, cycling , strength training,and spends any free time at her studio "playing" on her pilates equipment. Debbie has run the Disney Marathon and several l/2 marathons and continues to run for fun and fitness several times a week.
The idea of myOMmat came along when Debbie was visiting a yoga studio in NYC while on vacation, and was asked if she needed to rent a mat or did she bring her own mat? When she replied that she would rent a mat, she was shown the area where the mats were stored - even those mats that people left there for ease and safe keeping. Wondering how to distinguish one mat from another, myOMmat became a thought in her mind. and now finally, it has come to fruition.
"People are having fun with designing and having their own mats - coming up with a design or symbol and being able to recognize their own mat when they are in a large class setting.
Yoga and Pilates studios love having the mats with their logos on them - some for re-sale, others for use in group classes."
